Well, after a not so nice 2013 with knee surgery keeping me out of action for 2 and 1/2 months, and then being sick for an additional three months, I have so far had a good 2014.

I visited my family in Florida in January. I spent a lot of time visiting with my sister. My sister and I have always been very close. We went to Busch Gardens and had fun riding the roller coasters. We also played many games of Scrabble.

I am back walking in 5 inch heels without any issues. I did a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC in September. I actually drove a jetski for the first time in my life. I am terrified of the ocean, thanks to the movie Jaws. We went on a "dolphin adventure", which means everyone got to drive their own jetski in the ocean, whoopee, gee I was "looking forward" to that....NOT. Even though I was initially scared beyond belief as it was my first time driving a jet ski in the ocean, and my pink and white bikini bottoms are now my brown and white bikini bottoms, (no, not really), I thoroughly enjoyed myself. On the way out to meet the shrimp boat, it took me about 5 minutes or so to get used to the steering, as I kept turning sideways, was maybe topping out at 20mph or so, scared beyond belief.....and was panicked a great white shark was going to come up behind me any minute. The ocean was pretty calm, once we got past the breakers, not too bad. We got out to where the shrimp boat was, not all that far offshore, maybe half a mile or so, we saw the dolphins. They came up right near the jetskis, that was so cool. I forgot all about being scared of the ocean. We hung out tnere for a good 20 minutes or so, probably saw a dozen dolphin or more. On the way back, they took us into the intercoastal waterway, I had the steering down by then. I got the jetski to 53mph on the trip back, water was nice and calm. I loved it.

For 2015, I am looking at planning trips to Florida, Wisconsin, Montreal, and  Las Vegas.
